Rick visits the winners of this year's Spread the Net Student Challenge. Lakefield Elementary School in Quispamsis NB, Peterborough Collegiate and Vocational School in Peterborough, ON, and McGill University in Montreal, QC.

The final numbers are in for the 2011-2012 Spread the Net Student Challenge. A total of 47 schools raised $247,603.41 to help reduce the harm of Malaria in Africa. Congratulations to all of this year's winners and participants. Follow this link for more details.

The Kids Are Alright

It's been a very long time since I've been in school. And like a lot of Canadians, I see a yellow bus, I breathe into a paper bad and then I carry on with my day. But this past week I went back to school and why not? 47 schools from across Canada came together and raised a quarter of a million dollars for kids on the other side of the planet.
