Tickets for the Mercer Report


Rick Mercer Report is taped in front of a live studio audience.

Tickets to the taping are free of charge.

We are booking tickets for the following television tapings (on a first come first serve basis):

  • The first half of this season's tickets for Rick Mercer Report will be released at 4:00 PM EST on Wednesday, September 8.
  • The second half of this season's tickets for Rick Mercer Report willbe released at 4:00 PM EST on Tuesday, October 12.

These tickets will be listed on the right hand of your screen. Please wait until the ticket dates are posted to send your email. Emails with ticket requests for shows not listed or listed as sold out will not be responded to.

Date of the taping you'd like to attend. Please include a second and third choice in case the taping has sold out.
How many tickets you require

Tickets are limited to 4 per person, at 1 taping per season.

PLEASE NOTE parents must bring their children 18 years of age and under. Nobody under 10 will be admitted into the studio. (Sorry!)

Due to high demand for tickets we do not book groups for the tapings.

Information for Reserved ticket holders

Tickets are available for pickup only on the night of performance. We suggest you check in at our ticket desk between 7:15 and 7:30 pm, the doors will close sharply at 7:30 pm. The taping will last approximately 1 hour.

Once you have collected your tickets from our ticket desk, our Audience Assistants will direct you to our studio, where you will be seated. There is assigned seating for the taping.

Yes, our studio is wheelchair accessible.

Yes, you can take photographs but not while our cameras are rolling.

Standby Tickets

There is generally not much advance notice for standby ticket availability, as these tickets are only released within a few days of a scheduled performance. You will be contacted if these tickets become available. Thetickets are free of charge.

If you'd like to be put on a standby list for tickets, please email our Audience Relations Coordinator with the following information:

The number of tickets you would require (to a maximum of 4)

Studio Location

Our studio is located in downtown Toronto at the CBC Broadcasting Centre in the heart of the entertainment district.

The audience entrance is 25 John Street, between Front Street West and Wellington Street West.

TTC and Go Transit: We are just a few blocks' walking distance from both the Union and St. Andrew subway stations. You can also take the 504 King streetcar to the corner of King and John and walk one block south.

CAR: If you are traveling along the Gardiner, exit at Spadina, and drive north to Front Street. Turn right (east), and you will see the CBC Broadcasting Centre, on the northeast corner of Front & John.
