Conservative Member of Parliament Rob Anders fell asleep last week live on national television right in the middle of Question Period. Lots of people put it on the news because people found it funny. Meanwhile in Toronto last year some dude, whose job it was to sell subway tickets, took a nap on the job and it was front page news. People acted like he was history's cruelest monster. It was very telling.

I love Canada in November. It’s that magical time of year when so many of us get up and go to work and it’s dark. And then we come home from work and it’s dark. They say it leads to Seasonal Affective Disorder. Canada, the birthplace of S.A.D.

It's not every day that government gets it right. But sometimes they do. Our Prime Minister has been consistent in his promise to create smaller government. And he has delivered.
